Approved Courses for Mediators

We realized, however, that since many of our mediators are also attorneys, it is easier for them to provide just 1 platform for which their courses can be located.

Our courses can provide mediators with CME credits. Mediators are required to self report those hours applicable to their areas of certification at the time of their renewal. Florida’s requirements are listed with each course. If you have a question about your specific state, please contact us and we will look into it for you. The courses that apply to mediators are:

• Modifying Mortgages in Bankruptcy: Course Approved by United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida for certification of Mortgage Mediators pursuant to Administrative Order: FLMB 2015-5 / CLE: 9.0 general; 1.0 ethics – Certification Credits: Real Estate 9.0, Business Litigation 7.0. “This course is eligible for up to 9.0 CME hours.  Mediators are required to self report those hours applicable to their areas of certification at the time of their renewal.  For more information on the CME requirement, visit, www.flcourts.org, select Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation.”
• Mortgage Modification Tips – How to Prepare Government Form and Tips to Improve Success in Mortgage Mediations: “This course is eligible for up to 1 CME hours.  Mediators are required to self report those hours applicable to their areas of certification at the time of their renewal.  For more information on the CME requirement, visit, www.flcourts.org, select Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation.”
• The Ethics of the Advocate-Mediator Relationship: “This course is eligible for up to 2 CME hours.  Mediators are required to self report those hours applicable to their areas of certification at the time of their renewal.  For more information on the CME requirement, visit, www.flcourts.org, select Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation.”
